In the heat of GE2020, 215 new Covid-19 cases, including 10 community and 4 imported cases on 1 July
While everyone is so hyped about the GE2020, Singapore reports 215 new Covid-19 cases, including 10 community cases and 4 imported cases on 1 July 2020, the start of the second half of 2020.
Among the 10 community cases, 6 are Singaporeans or permanent residents and 4 are work pass holders.
There are also 4 imported cases, all of whom had been placed on Stay Home Notice or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.
Overall, the number of new cases in the community has increased, from an average of 4 cases per day in the week before, to an average of 7 cases per day in the past week.
The number of unlinked cases in the community has also increased, from an average of 2 cases per day in the week before to an average of 4 cases per day in the past week.
515 cases have been discharged on Tuesday 30 June 2020 A total of 38,488 patients have fully recovered from the disease while 215 patients remain in hospital, including 1 in the intensive care unit, while 5,166 are recuperating in community facilities.
There have been 26 deaths from Covid-19 complications in Singapore so far, while 12 who tested positive have died of other causes.
